Main Floor Reno
Passion Project: This main floor renovation allowed me to rethink our home’s layout and transform an underutilized extension, two disconnected living rooms, and a closed-in kitchen into a space that truly supports modern family living. Hosting is a big part of our lifestyle, and with two kids, functionality and flow were essential.
I explored multiple layout options to maximize the footprint, ultimately creating a home office, relocated main-floor laundry, walk-in pantry, and a fully open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space. The redesign also introduced a new mudroom with storage and direct access to the garage—an everyday game changer.
To support the way we entertain, I included a dedicated entertainer’s bar complete with its own beverage fridge.
The result is a bright, connected, highly functional main floor tailored for both family living and hosting with ease.
Basement Reno
This unfinished basement needed to work harder for a growing family, so I designed a flexible layout that can easily evolve over time.
The space plan included a 3-piece bathroom, enclosed furnace room, dedicated storage, an entertaining bar, a flexible play zone that can convert into a murphy-bed guest area, and a comfortable lounge space.
With basements prone to moisture and potential flooding, durable finishes were selected and the result is a bright, flexible basement designed for everyday living, future needs, and effortless hosting.
Ensuite Reno
This client wanted an ensuite where none existed, so the design began by reworking the closet and third bedroom to create a new, functional layout. The goal was to create a space that felt light, airy, and welcoming, with a soft touch of glam.
The design pairs clean white cabinetry with black metal accents for contrast, while the crystal-inspired fixture bring a subtle sparkle to the room.
The geometric mirror adds a modern edge, reflecting natural light and making the space feel open and bright. Warm grey floor tiles ground the palette, creating balance and a sense of calm.
The result is a fresh, modern ensuite that feels elegant yet comfortable. An inviting retreat intentionally crafted from a previously unused area of the home.
Bathroom Reno
This bathroom refresh focused on updating the shower, vanity, and all cosmetic elements to create a space that feels modern yet warm.
The new design introduces deep, moody wall paneling paired with natural wood tones in the vanity to ground the room and add texture. Black hardware provides a crisp, contemporary contrast, while the fresh flooring brings warmth and durability.
The result is a simple yet impactful transformation—clean, cohesive, and thoughtfully refined.
